External or Self-Funded Opportunities
We welcome strong candidates who already have funding, intend to apply for an external scholarship or fellowship, or wish to pursue a self-funded research opportunity. This may include PhD study, research internships, visiting placements and externally funded postdoctoral fellowships.
Where there is a strong research fit, we may support suitable candidates in developing the research proposal and host arrangements required for an external funding application.

Visits and internships should have a clear research objective and alignment with the lab's research areas. Applicants may be supported through their university, government, scholarship programme, fellowship, employer or personal funding.

Collaborate With Us
We welcome collaborations with clinicians, healthcare organisations, health service providers, industry and academic researchers. Potential collaborations include joint research projects, AI method development and evaluation, co-supervised PhD projects, student placements, joint funding applications and translation of research into real-world settings.
